Isaac Ansah

Physiotherapist

Isaac graduated from the University of Manitoba with his Bachelor of Arts-Advanced in Psychology in 2011. After graduation he continued his studies and earned his Masters of Physiotherapy in 2014.

 

Since graduation, Isaac has worked in the public and private health sector. He has had the opportunity to hone his skills in assessing, treating, optimizing function and promoting well-being in a variety of populations including geriatrics. 

 

Isaac has a strong passion for all sports.  After an accomplished high school and collegiate basketball career, he had the privilege of briefly playing professional basketball overseas. Isaac’s interest in physiotherapy developed during his time in athletics as physiotherapy was instrumental in his on-court performance and recovery from injury.

 

As a former athlete and as a recreation sport enthusiast, Isaac has the ability to understand his clients' needs and goals, and combined with his knowledge and training he has helped his clients achieve optimal performance.

Isaac is a firm believer in combining manual therapy with specific exercise prescriptions to prevent injury, facilitate recovery from injury, and increase mobility. He is a dedicated professional who believes in keeping current with the latest physiotherapy techniques and training to benefit his clients.  This dedication has led Isaac to obtain his Level 1 orthopaedic manual therapy, Acupuncture certification, functional movement screen certification, and continues to attend various continuing education workshops. Isaac currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Manitoba College of Social Workers.
